Actually…..it’s a pretty silly question..:-)
We ALL do, right?
But the trick is, it needs to be QUALIFIED traffic, and not the avalanche of eyeballs you’ll get from social media, or other silly strategies that look good in your analytics, but don’t do much for your bank account.
What I do is actually quite simple. And while it’s super simple, it’s actually translated into MILLIONS of qualified readers and visitors in a multitude of niches, all of which who have raised their metaphorical hands to want to know more about what I’ve got to say. (because they’ve CHOSEN to either check out my content, or click on my call to action to learn more)
I call it the STRATEGY of straight lines……but what it really is, at heart, is content marketing.Writing COPIOUS amounts of killer content, much like the article you are reading right now, and using that traffic to serve just about any marketing master I choose..:-)
Now – I’ve written, personally – over 5000 articles, JUST in the last few years. I’ve also managed the creation of thousands more – by clients, employees and outsourced agents of all types and stripes.
I don’t expect you to do the same.BUT, if you are willing to work for 1 HOUR per day, doing nothing but creating content and then submitting that content to the directories, more traffic is ALL but guaranteed.I know it’s taboo to say these days….but you almost can’t NOT do well if you do.
