The very first, and most important thing that you need online is a system. Without a system you will spend loads of time, money and effort trying to figure out lots of different things. Other than the training the system gives you, you need to know which tools you need for online marketing, you need to learn copywriting skills and you will require someone to answer questions for you alot at the beginning.  If you do not invest in a marketing system you are going to spend a huge amount of time studying how and where to market on the internet.

I began by following someone who seemed to know what they were doing, and whom I liked.  When I discovered he got his training directly from a system, I followed suit.  I was amazed; this system blew me away.  For starters there was a ‘getting started’ section, which walked me through setting up my system, with instructional videos.  I personally knew very little about the internet before I came online with my business, so I was not quick with the set up process. But it didnt matter if I had to watch some of the videos more than once.

Next I decided which marketing methods to use first, then studied the videos and trainings on those subjects.  Each part explains how to market your business by generating leads so that you can copy it.  And now, months down the road I am generating leads everyday, and more importantly I am still learning everyday from this system.  Every week we have a training call webinar, usually with a guest speaker, and also a live coaching call where the leaders are calling leads in their system to show us how to prospect.

Even several months down the road, I have not studied everything I have available to me! I believe when my first year is up, I will still not have used every resource they have available, and more and more trainings are being added regularly.  The back office also includes a forum where we can discuss any problems we may be having, and ask for answers.  There is always someone on hand on skype phone to give help to anyone who needs it.
